The Mathers Museum features many exhibits, collections and events from cultures all over the world. It is located on the campus and is one of IU´s resources and holdings for Liberia.

From now until December 21, 2007 the museum will be displaying To Have and to Hold: African Containers, an exhibit showcasing nearly 60 different types of containers from Africa including baskets, bottles, bowls and more!

While visiting, be sure to check out the museum´s store. There´s a unique variety of culturally diverse items to choose from. Everything from Raku fired pottery from South Africa to hand-carved Wooden Skeletons from the Mayan Indians of Guatemala are available for purchase.
